Dragon engraved on the blade of the khukuri (kukri) is entirely done by hand using chisel and hammer. The khukuri (kukri) being handmade, the Dragon engraving also show more craftmanship. It has no such significant meaning. This Chainpure khukuri (kukri) comes from the village called Chainpur which lies in the eastern part of Nepal. This khukuri (kukri) is slightly different from other khukuri (kukri) because of its close notch and different shaped handle. The brass cap at the end of the handle has been removed for comfortness.This Village trade mark is to close notch but there is always a liitle angle made below the notch for the blood to drip as this knife is always a leathel weapon.
